30 Sep EIfI-Tech. participated at the CleanMobilEnergy project development meeting in Arnhem, Netherlands
From 22th – 23th September 2016 the 2nd concept meeting of the Clean Mobile Energy Project took place in Arnhem, Netherlands. During the meeting, the focus was on preparing the development of the approved Expression of Interest to a full project application. Moreover, the partner institutions of the project discussed about the important priorities and tried to strengthen the partnership.
The project “Clean Mobility and Energy for Cities” is led by the City of Arnhem and is located in the Interreg North-West Europe Funding Program. The program priority of this project is to facilitate the uptake of low carbon technologies, products, processes and services in sectors with high energy saving potential and to reduce GHG emissions in North-West Europe.
The European Institute for Innovation – Technology (EIfI-Tech.) as a pan European umbrella organisation is located in Schwäbisch-Gmünd, Germany. EIfI-Tech. representation in Arnhem was Chris Ashe, the Director of Innovation. Within the project EIfI-Tech. is going to operate a pilot which will investigate home storage and emergency power. This will be combined with renewable energy and light electric vehicle applications.
Further, EIfI-Tech. will be responsible for the work package ‘communication’, which means to present a communication strategy for the project activities. In addition, EIfI-Tech will organise meetings, events and international conferences and will be responsible for communication and dissemination of the project in various media channels and for networking. Moreover, EIfI-Tech. will communicate and demonstrate the new City-Pilots functionality, services and results, for example of energy, finance, air quality etc.
