EIfI-Tech in Northern Ireland for the second Housing 4.0 Energy Steering Group Meeting

The Housing 4.0 Energy (H4.0E) partners convened in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, UK this November for the second partnership H4.0E Steering Group meeting. After introductions from all 18 attendees, the partners discussed what is going on generally in the project. The focus of the discussion was the establishment of regional stakeholder working groups corresponding with each partner.

Barry McCarron of hosting partner organisation, South West College (SWC), leading the discussion on Work Package 4 at the second international H4.0E Steering Group Meeting in Enniskillen.

In addition, a significant amount of time was aside to discuss Work Package 4, which incorporates research into the current state of play within the European construction industry in respect to innovation within building techniques, digital technology and building materials. This was led by South West College (SWC), H4.0E partner and host, with each partner contributing to output. South West College also provided a tour of its innovative facilities, featuring a workshop on VR/AR tours of its new Erne Campus.

Finally, the remainder of the meeting was focused on updates from each partner on other upcoming work packages. The meeting concluded with a finance briefing on the expected administrative tasks required from the lead partner.

The H4.0E partnership, which includes eight organisations from five different countries across North West Europe.
